Happy Monday Morning to you.
Blessings on your week.
I wanted to share this article I was just reading about Social Media Strategy.
If I can help you with your linkedin results (not something I do for a living but just something I give away freely) just let me know.

Naysayers will always try to pull you down. The way you succeed is consistent persistence. --Eric Standlee http://amplify.com/u/a1d2vr

Have you been doing all 5 of these? Consider starting today and keeping notes in a journal about what you do and how that improves your networking results. Then, also consider sharing that with your networking friends on theinhouston.com in your own blog. Send me the link to what you write and I'll feature it to the whole group.

If I go to a monthly networking lunch with you for a year an all you ever bring to the group is the same 100 people you know because you never meet anyone new, then your value to me is greatly diminished.
On the other hand, if you are constantly adding 5-20 new connections each and every day and have a system in place to sift those and meet some for coffee, then I know that in a year's time you'll be even more valuable to me.
If you are hunting for a job from behind that computer you're reading this from, then you aren't out networking and meeting new people.
But, MORE IMPORTANTLY if you aren't meeting new people you limit the number of people you can help. Just because I meet you doesn't mean I want to do business with you nor does it mean I like you. We have to have a 1 hour 1on1 over coffee first. I have to get to know you...
So, Connect with more every day.

Labor day was created as a holiday to placate labor unions. Even so, I hope you are enjoying it.
Since it is a bank holiday, most funding of any kind wont happen today unless an entrepreneur uses a credit card.
As a funding source, this means that our offices are closed as well.
However, as an entrepreneur, I am heading to be on a radio show about entrepreneurship and how they can survive this down economy.
So, while most are sleeping in for the first Monday since Memorial Day, I am sacrificing that sleep and heading into my friend's radio show to be his guest.
My perspective: do whatever it takes to help as many B2B companies get the funding they need to keep more employees and grow their companies.
