Venture capitalists say startup community is in crisis - San Francisco Business Times:

Venture capitalists say startup community is in crisis - San Francisco Business Times:: "The venture capital trade group also pointed to a recent industry survey in which two-thirds of VCs surveyed said their portfolio companies are less likely to want to enter the public markets today than they were three years ago."

It is going to be harder with high costs of doing business for start-ups to get to the venture capital table, and VCs should be looking for strong growing companies. That is why VCs should join forces with a company like American Prudential Capital to help their potential deals grow until they can bring them to the table instead of just throwing them in the trash.
